I recently tripped to Stockholm, Sweden, the city of design, elk burgers, capital of Scandinavia and tiny, expensive horse folk art fridge magnets. As well as being expensive the place was dripping in visual overcool, colour and pattern. If you want details of the above images I can do that.
These are three of five, one-off, prototype cushion covers created during the process to design my final Woolf cushion. They, like the final design, are all made from 100% lambs wool, made in the Shetland Isles. They feature the Woolf portrait in various formats. All five of the covers are functionable and are now available at my online shop.
'The Zoo' is the latest charity shop find for my daughter Belle's library. This Ladybird 'Learning to Read' book was published in 1960 and features illustrations by Barry Driscoll. "The sentences and the pictures are skilfully matched so that many beginners can work out for themselves what the words say".
I was in the print studio this month and found on the shelves of the office library a collection of hard backed and bound issues of MOTIF Magazine.
each issue holds beautifully illustrated articles about subjects such as painting, sculpture and art education. These visual feasts spanned 13 issues from 1958 to 1967. I managed to take the odd snap while waiting to pay for my materials.

It's the countdown to next weeks glorious graphic festival. Unlimited Collective will be taking part and showcasing a delicious portfolio of printed graphic gifts at affordable prices including a selection from myself at Pick Me Up, Somerset House, London 18-28 April.
Twenty Twenty Gallery in Much Wenlock, Shropshire will be holding an exhibition to celebrate British Printmakers. A selection of my framed limited edition work, including new designs, will be available. A Private View kicks off proceeding on Friday April 26th and the exhibition runs until June 1st.
A Little Bit of Art will be showing a selection of affordable limited edition prints by myself, Lucie Sheridan and various other artists at Studio 73, Brixton Village. It opens this Friday April 12th with a Private View 6-9pm and runs through to Wednesday 24th April. Opening times vary, late nights on Thurs/Friday and Saturday until 9pm.
I've just released a gold and silver edition of my popular Pigeon fancier print. Both are screen printed using a high quality metallic ink by Lascaux. The paper used is from an Italian Mill and measures 21cm wide by 16cm high with a trimmed edge. Both are now available unframed from my shop.
