Welsh watercolour

If you know Pembrokeshire with it's rich sunsets, unspoilt countryside, breath taking coastal walks and perfect beaches then you may appreciate that it's worth capturing by splashing a little watercolour.
West Angle village and bay is a place dear to me where one can view the mouth of Milford Haven where it meets the Irish Sea and in the East Bay the villagers harbour their boats with the back drop of the Texaco oil refinery. All picture perfect!

Fieldnotes reprinted

A fresh batch of 'Flock' Fieldnotes have been printed and are available now. This design was the most popular so it's back and I hope you approve.

Days in the Dales

All I can say is that if you haven't been then go soon. The Yorkshire Dales is a striking rural kingdom, sometimes beautiful, sometimes haunting, but always with a scale and character that overshadows much of what lies beneath it within other counties.

We were fortunate to stay at a friends cottage in Thoralby, North Yorkshire where Black Sheep ale and Wensleydale cheese are served. My fav dish was a a Black Sheep ale battered piece of Whitby Haddock served at The George and Dragon, Aysgarth.

Something more to coo about

Two new colours for my Pigeon Fancier print have been released. Bright orange and deep pink will hopefully take your fancy!

Bag the book of bags

This month 'The Tote Bag Book' is released. It is written and designed by designer and illustrator Jitesh Patel and his Jai Studio and published by Laurence King.

My designs are featured together with many other designers and illustrators alike, that have all helped to make this eco product of the century a high street must have.

WWF HQ

I have recently completed illustrations for banners installed in the reception of the head quarters of the World Wildlife Fund, Goldalming in Surrey.

There are four key environments illustrated that represent the natural world that the WWF campaigns to safeguard. The printing was carried out in-house and applied to a 100% recycled material using eco friendly inks.

Products for Tenderproduct

I've recently just started to sell my work at Tenderproduct, a new shop off St Martins Lane, London, showcasing the creations of the most emerging talent in Art and Design as well as being the place in central London to find art and design books and limited print publications.

In store at IKEA

This April will see one of my Tree images from my current series - Moonglow, become a wall hanging product as part of Ikea's art department, worldwide.

The new hanging system means that the mounted prints simply pop out of the packaging and can be hung instantly with no need to frame or add fittings.

Computer Arts Magazine

Issue 184 of CA Magazine have run a short feature about my start to my Animalphabet cards. There is also a CD that contains Q and As about my work and this recent work.

This creative glossy is packed with everything new and inspirational in the world of 2/3D design and art.

Art at the Bocabar

I have been invited to exhibit prints along with three other artists at a popular Bristol watering hole that is Bocabar. It is a hub at the centre of a creative workplace called Paintworks.

The show runs until mid March so perhaps a Sunday brunch, papers and a bit of art maybe just the ticket.

Candy coloured trees

I have collaborated with Joe Madeira at The Old Sweet Shop Gallery, SW18 to create a recoloured series of the most popular tree images from my current series.

There are nine to choose from, so it's a 'pick and mix' all available from Joe right now!
